Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans including all types of CT exams with and without contrast in trauma 3 designation setting
• Conduct X-Ray procedures including extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, lower and upper extremities
• Perform fluoroscopy studies, enema studies, and surgery/C-arm procedures when needed
• Provide imaging services for patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Perform CT arthrography, multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), and vascular CTA procedures
• Handle preparation and administration of contrast media
• Start peripheral IVs as required
• Operate in emergency department, ICU, and perform portable imaging and C-arm procedures
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Maintain current ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as assigned
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Maintain valid state licensure and required certifications
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
