Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis as a Lab Specialist
• Maintain current MLS, ASCP or AMT certification
• Work rotating weekend shifts with 5 8-hour shifts per week
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Undergo license/certificate verification process
• Complete mandatory health screening requirements including fit testing
• Participate in drug screening process
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete physical health assessment
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and compliance programs
• Complete skills checklist verification
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access training and authorization
• Adhere to conflict of interest disclosure requirements
• Complete motor vehicle report verification if required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
