Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Torrance, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography procedures including 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, M-Mode, and Bubble Studies
• Conduct carotid ultrasounds with proficiency and comfort
• Operate GE E95 Ultra Sound equipment and other imaging systems
• Perform treadmill stress echo procedures
• Complete 12 Lead EKG procedures
• Utilize specialized echo techniques including LV Strain/LV Volume, Simpson's Rule, and Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area
• Assess Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT) and Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT)
• Perform imaging with contrast agents when required
• Maintain current ARDMS RDCS AE and BLS certifications
• Document patient information using Epic charting system
• Follow isolation precautions and safety protocols
• Utilize PACS system for image management
• Provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 8 patients
• Work scheduled block shifts from 08:00-17:00
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty
• Float between facilities within the state as required
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
