Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ER to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Lubbock, TX. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide emergency room nursing care with a 1:3 patient ratio
• Maintain current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks as required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Maintain valid compact state nursing license
• Complete required non-billable modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours)
• Self-report time spent on training modules
• Adhere to facility dress code requirements for licensed nursing personnel
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as required
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Submit monthly cell phone bills directly to agency for work-related usage
• Complete compliance documentation and background requirements
• Maintain flexibility with contracted schedule and approved time-off requests
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in TX
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
