Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Nights at a leading Hospital in Kodiak, AK. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures and examinations as a CT Technologist
• Provide coverage for X-ray procedures when needed within scope of practice
• Work Monday through Thursday 5:00 PM to 3:30 AM shift schedule
• Maintain availability for on-call duties from 3:30 AM to 7:00 AM Monday through Thursday
• Respond to occasional on-call requirements for emergent surgical cases
• Provide adult acute care and emergency room imaging services
• Maintain current BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float between hospital units and affiliate hospitals as needed
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications
• Maintain current Hepatitis B vaccination (titers or declinations not accepted)
• Use facility-provided communication devices when required for work duties
• Comply with facility dress code requirements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for imaging services delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in AK
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
