Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Milwaukie, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform X-Ray technician duties in a short term acute care setting
• Maintain current ARRT certification
• Maintain current OBMI certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Work every weekend as required
• Maintain 1:1 patient ratio
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Float to affiliate hospitals nearby as assigned
• Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually
• Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules
• Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Comply with facility dress code requirements
• Maintain valid state licensure
• Complete required compliance documentation and background checks
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required
• Adhere to contracted schedule and approved time-off requests
• Complete Workramp transcript documentation for module completion
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
