Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures using GE scanner equipment
• Maintain current MRI certification
• Work Monday through Friday, 2nd shift (2:30p-11p)
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and patient records
• Complete required health screenings including PPD/IGRA testing
• Maintain current vaccinations (COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Complete mandatory drug screening and background check requirements
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete all required compliance forms and documentation
• Maintain valid state licensure and certification verification
• Complete skills checklist assessment and competency verification
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care
• Complete required training modules and educational requirements
• Participate in system access and security agreement protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
