Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform certified CT technologist duties during 11p-7am shifts
• Operate Toshiba scanner equipment for patient imaging procedures
• Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and patient records
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Maintain current CT technologist certification and state licensure
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccination, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA testing, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass fit testing and respirator evaluation requirements
• Complete mandatory drug screening and physical/health statement
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete required compliance forms including Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Disclosure
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and complete skills checklist
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access authorization and patient confidentiality agreements
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for imaging services
• Provide high-quality patient care during CT scanning procedures
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
