Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Waterbury, CT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures using Toshiba scanner equipment
• Work night shift hours from 11pm-7am with potential flexibility for four 10-hour shifts
• Work every other weekend as scheduled
• Utilize EPIC electronic health record system for patient documentation
• Maintain current CT Technologist certification and state licensure
• Complete required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete mandatory COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations
• Submit to 9-panel drug screening and criminal background check
• Complete comprehensive skills checklist assessment
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures
• Complete required forms including Code of Conduct and Confidentiality agreements
• Participate in ongoing education verification and competency assessments
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
