Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound examinations and diagnostic imaging procedures
• Work Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm shift schedule
• Participate in on-call rotation 1 night per week from 11pm-6am
• Complete Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit required incident reports as needed
• Complete OFAC compliance requirements
• Demonstrate competency through skills checklist completion
• Maintain current ultrasound technician license/certification
• Complete required fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Pass drug screening requirements
• Adhere to code of conduct policies and procedures
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and system security
• Participate in integrity and audit compliance activities
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Meet color vision requirements for imaging procedures
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination status
• Provide proof of MMR immunization
• Maintain Hepatitis B vaccination compliance
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Provide varicella immunization verification
• Complete annual physical and health assessments
• Submit conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete Joint Commission compliance testing
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access authorization forms
• Respond to COVID-19 health questionnaires as required
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
