Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Nights at a leading Hospital in Waterloo, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform radiologic technologist duties on 3rd shift Monday through Thursday 10pm-6am
• Work holiday rotation covering any holidays that fall on scheduled hours Monday-Thursday
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT registration
• Complete required onboarding training modules including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing and skills checklist
• Maintain valid radiologic technologist license and certificate verification
• Complete required health screenings including fit test, drug screening, and color vision testing
• Maintain current immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA, and Varicella
• Complete annual physical and health statement requirements
• Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements for patient and property information
• Complete criminal background check and education verification processes
• Participate in Joint Commission testing and system access requirements
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity audit services documentation
• Maintain NSO professional liability coverage
• Comply with all facility policies and procedures for radiologic services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
