Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures and operate CT equipment safely and effectively
• Position patients appropriately for CT examinations and ensure patient comfort and safety
• Administer contrast agents as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in electronic health systems
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain ALARA principles
• Complete required competency testing and skills assessments
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Comply with facility policies, procedures, and dress code requirements
• Complete mandatory training modules and continuing education requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and equipment maintenance protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members for optimal patient care
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with HIPAA regulations
• Complete required health screenings, vaccinations, and background checks
• Work flexible night shift schedules as assigned
• Demonstrate proficiency in emergency procedures and patient care protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
