Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services to patients in acute care hospital setting
• Work 36-hour weekly schedule with 7p-7a shifts
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Complete license/certificate verification and maintain valid state licensure
• Complete required health screenings including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, PPD/IGRA testing, and Varicella
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete comprehensive drug screening and background check processes
• Finish mandatory compliance training including Joint Commission testing and specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete skills checklist and competency assessments
• Adhere to code of conduct and maintain patient confidentiality agreements
• Complete education verification and professional reference checks
• Maintain current professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete conflict of interest disclosures and integrity compliance forms
• Ensure current Tdap vaccination status
• Participate in ongoing competency evaluations and annual requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
