Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - PCU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Springfield, MA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) • Work night shift schedule from 7p-7:30a • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications • Complete required specialty-specific competency testing • Complete skills checklist assessments • Maintain valid RN state licensure • Complete required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing • Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap • Complete annual influenza vaccination when required • Pass required drug screening • Complete criminal background check and related compliance documentation • Complete education verification process • Adhere to code of conduct and confidentiality agreements • Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms • Maintain professional liability insurance coverage • Complete system access and security training requirements • Pass fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
