Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide psychiatric nursing care in accordance with professional standards
• Complete required Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Submit required reporting documentation
• Complete OFAC compliance requirements
• Demonstrate competency through skills checklist assessment
• Maintain current and valid nursing license/certificate verification
• Complete fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Pass required drug screening
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Comply with system security agreements
• Complete integrity and audit services documentation
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing for psychiatric nursing
• Meet color vision requirements
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination
• Maintain current MMR vaccination
• Maintain current Hepatitis B vaccination
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Maintain current Varicella vaccination
• Complete required physical examination and health statement
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure forms
• Pass criminal background check requirements
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete EPLS screening requirements
• Pass GSA/OIG exclusion screening
• Complete Joint Commission required testing
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access authorization forms
• Complete COVID-19 specific health questionnaires
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
