Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services and patient care
• Complete required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain current professional licensure and certifications
• Complete mandatory training modules including child and adult dependent abuse training
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing and skills assessments
• Undergo fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Complete required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Submit to drug screening and criminal background checks
• Complete facility-specific training and orientation programs
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with system security agreements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and integrity policies
• Complete annual competency requirements and continuing education
• Provide coverage for FMLA/leave of absence situations
• Follow all facility policies and procedures for respiratory therapy services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
