Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in Labor & Delivery specialty unit
• Work every third weekend as part of scheduling requirements
• Complete license/certificate verification and maintain current RN licensure
• Complete required fit testing for personal protective equipment
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and policies
• Complete I-9 employment verification documentation
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information per system security agreement
• Complete integrity and audit services compliance forms
• Pass specialty-specific competency testing for L&D unit
• Complete child and adult dependent abuse training
• Complete mandatory reporting training requirements
• Pass OFAC screening requirements
• Demonstrate proficiency through skills checklist completion
• Provide valid driver's license or state identification
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete facility-specific orientation training
• Maintain required immunizations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual physical and health assessments
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure documentation
• Pass criminal background check screening
• Provide education verification documentation
• Complete excluded provider list screening
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Complete system access requirements and training
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete Joint Commission compliance testing
• Complete COVID-19 specific health questionnaires
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
