Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Cedar Falls, IA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures and operate CT equipment as a certified CT Technologist
• Work night shifts Friday through Sunday (6p-6a schedule)
• Utilize Cerner and Epic electronic health record systems for documentation
• Complete required health screenings including 2 Step PPD or IGRA testing
• Maintain current COVID-19 vaccination and other required immunizations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
• Complete mandatory training programs including Child and Adult Dependent Abuse Training
• Pass required skills checklist and specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo and pass 9-panel drug screening and background checks
• Complete fit testing for respiratory protection equipment
• Maintain valid state licensure and certification verification
• Complete color vision testing requirements
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and comply with system security agreements
• Complete conflict of interest disclosure and integrity compliance documentation
• Provide required documentation for I-9 employment verification
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
