Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Tech - MRI Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform MRI imaging procedures as a certified MRI Technologist
• Maintain current ARRT or ARMRIT certification
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic, PACS, and Powerscribe systems for documentation and imaging workflow
• Work afternoon shifts from 12:30p-11:00p with no weekend or holiday requirements
• Complete fit testing and respirator evaluation requirements
• Maintain required health screenings including PPD or IGRA testing
• Complete required vaccination protocols including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Pass color vision testing requirements
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Undergo criminal background check and maintain clean background status
• Complete required compliance documentation and training modules
• Maintain valid state licensure and certification verification
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care and imaging services
• Complete drug screening and maintain compliance with substance abuse policies
• Participate in required education verification and continuing education requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
