Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services as a licensed Physical Therapist
• Work 40 hours per week in 4 ten-hour day shifts
• Provide occasional Saturday coverage as needed
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation
• Maintain current state Physical Therapist license
• Complete required specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete mandatory health screenings including fit testing, drug screening, and physical exam
• Maintain current vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete tuberculosis screening via 2-step PPD or IGRA testing
• Undergo criminal background check and maintain clean record
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Adhere to facility code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Complete required skills checklist and competency assessments
• Maintain color vision certification for clinical duties
• Complete annual influenza vaccination (optional)
• Participate in audit services and integrity compliance programs
• Maintain valid motor vehicle record for transportation requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
