Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate OT - OT to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Baker City, OR. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient occupational therapy services including orthopedic (hands), pediatric, and neurological care in a rural critical access setting
• Deliver occasional inpatient occupational therapy coverage during high census periods
• Work Monday through Friday schedule with occasional Saturday coverage (typically 2 Saturdays in 13-week rotation)
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for documentation and patient management
• Maintain current occupational therapy licensure and certification
• Complete required compliance documentation and onboarding requirements
• Complete mandatory health screenings including drug screening, PPD/IGRA testing, and immunizations
• Maintain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, and Tdap
• Complete annual fit testing and color vision assessment
• Undergo criminal background check and education verification
• Complete specialty-specific competency testing
• Adhere to organizational code of conduct and confidentiality agreements
• Participate in required training programs and maintain professional development
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in OR
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
