Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Maywood, IL. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services during 7p-7a night shifts
• Work 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
• Apply NICU/PICU experience in patient care delivery
• Complete license/certificate verification requirements
• Pass fit testing and maintain compliance
• Complete drug screening requirements
• Adhere to code of conduct and integrity standards
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and proprietary information
• Complete required skills checklist assessments
• Maintain current immunization requirements including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete tuberculosis screening (PPD or IGRA testing)
• Pass required physical and health assessments
• Complete criminal background check and education verification
• Pass Joint Commission testing requirements
• Complete all onboarding documentation and compliance forms
• Maintain professional system access authorization
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
