Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Maywood, IL. Key Responsibilities:
• Work 7p-7a shift, 36 hours per week with every other weekend requirement
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Obtain NRP certification upon hire through facility training
• Provide respiratory therapy services in NICU/PICU after specialized training
• Complete required onboarding documentation and forms
• Pass 9 panel drug screening and background check
• Maintain current state licensure and certificate verification
• Complete required health screenings including PPD/IGRA testing
• Obtain required vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
• Complete annual influenza vaccination as applicable
• Pass required skills checklist and competency assessments
• Complete Joint Commission testing and compliance requirements
• Maintain professional liability insurance coverage
• Adhere to facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct
• Complete required system access and security agreements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
