Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist - Respiratory Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Maywood, IL. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide respiratory therapy services during 7p-7a shifts, 36 hours per week with every other weekend coverage
• Maintain current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Obtain NRP certification upon hire and complete facility-provided training
• Provide respiratory care services in NICU/PICU units after completing required training
• Complete all required compliance documentation and onboarding requirements
• Maintain valid respiratory therapist state licensure and certification
• Complete facility-specific skills checklist and competency assessments
• Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and code of conduct requirements
• Complete required health screenings including drug screening, PPD/IGRA testing, and immunizations
• Maintain system access requirements and confidentiality agreements
• Complete mandatory education verification and background check processes
• Adhere to Joint Commission standards and complete required testing
• Participate in facility-specific training programs and competency maintenance
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in IL
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
