Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - RN OR to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Boise, ID. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing services as an RN in the Operating Room setting
• Work 2-3 twelve-hour weekend shifts per six weeks with call requirements
• Collaborate with charge RN throughout full 12-hour shifts
• Demonstrate proficiency in neurological procedures including burr holes and craniotomies
• Perform duties in all general and orthopedic trauma cases
• Operate basic DaVinci robotic surgical equipment
• Provide nursing care for all case types except burn patients in level two trauma center
• Maintain current RN licensure and certifications
• Complete required health screenings and vaccinations
• Undergo specialty-specific competency testing
• Complete mandatory background checks and verification processes
• Adhere to facility codes of conduct and patient confidentiality agreements
• Participate in Joint Commission compliance training
• Complete required skills checklists and system access protocols
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in ID
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
