Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Burbank, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide Nuclear Medical Technician services in both outpatient center and hospital settings • Maintain current BLS certification throughout assignment • Hold valid ARRT or NMTCB certification • Maintain current California state license • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Utilize Mediteach charting system for documentation • Float between outpatient center and hospital as needed • Float between all facilities within the state as required • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Perform duties using facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for nuclear medicine services
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
