Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ICU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 nights at a leading Hospital in Petoskey, MI. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services as a Registered Nurse in the ICU setting
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Maintain valid Michigan state nursing license with verification through LARA and Nursys
• Demonstrate EKG comfortability and interpretation skills
• Float to similar units as required by facility needs
• Adhere to strict 3 strike attendance policy with no absences or tardiness exceeding 20 minutes
• Make up any call-ins within the contract time frame
• Work weekends as required
• Be available for possible on-call duties
• Comply with health system-wide profile standards
• Provide documentation for any communicable disease or hospitalization if applicable
• Meet travel assignment requirements with 1+ years of experience
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MI
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
