Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Tarzana, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care services in the Cath Lab specialty area
• Maintain current ACLS and BCLS certifications
• Obtain LA Fire Card within 30 days of assignment
• Accept on-call duties 1-2 days per week with rotating weekend coverage
• Work every other weekend as required
• Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (approximately 16 hours, non-billable)
• Self-report time spent on training modules with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
• Float between all facilities within the state as assigned
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Maintain valid California RN license in hand prior to start
• Disclose any license or background hits upfront at time of submission
• Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties
• Submit monthly cell phone bills directly to agency for work-related usage if facility does not provide mobile phone
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems [Epic, Cerner, etc. preferred]
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
