Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Psych to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 nights at a leading Hospital in Lawton, OK. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide input into the formulation of the patient care plan
• Attend weekly clinical staffing and review of patient treatment plans
• Provide medication education to all patients and families
• Monitor and document patient emotional and mental observations accurately in patient charts
• Report patient observations to medical and clinical staff
• Conduct teaching and educational groups on the APU schedule
• Train LPNs and MHTs in charting, vital signs, patient routines, and de-escalation techniques
• Participate actively as part of a PI team or other unit task force
• Accept lecture, educational, or marketing assignments as assigned by the Manager
• Maintain current Therapeutic Options certification
• Serve as a positive role model for patients and employees in language, dress, hygiene, and behavior
• Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification
• Maintain current NIH certification
• Maintain valid Oklahoma state nursing license

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in OK
Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
State-required professional license
Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
