Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Psych to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading $facility_type$ in Salisbury, NC. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychiatric nursing care for patients with schizophrenia, schizoaffective, bipolar, and major depression diagnoses
• Maintain current BLS certification and obtain MOAB certification as provided
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Maintain 1:8 patient ratio during shifts
• Utilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR systems for documentation and patient care
• Float between units within skillset and to affiliate hospitals as needed
• Work every other weekend as required
• Complete 24 hours of unit orientation and hospital orientation classes
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year)
• Adhere to facility dress code requiring solid navy blue or white scrubs
• Maintain valid NC or Compact state nursing license
• Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months
• Complete required compliance testing within 48 hours after signing
• Comply with fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services
• Complete required flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions only)

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in NC
Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
State-required professional license
Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
