Position Summary:

VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - ICU to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading Hospital in Pontiac, MI. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, coordinate and deliver care to critically ill patients from adolescent to geriatric
• Care for a wide variety of patient diagnoses, including medical, surgical, cardiac and neurosurgical
• Maintain the standards of professional nursing
• Supervise CNA/SNA, LPN or other health care workers as assigned
• Work in Intensive Care (ICU) and Step-down (SDU) units
• Float to Stepdown unit as needed
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Complete skills checklist within one year of application
• Maintain valid Michigan nursing license
• Work every other weekend
• Work night shift hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Meet 36 hour weekly guarantee requirement

Job Requirements:

Active, unencumbered license in MI
Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)

Other Required Documentation:

Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
Two current clinical references
State-required professional license
Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
Must pass background check and drug screening
