Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years of ER experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Community hospital experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Experience with various patient age groups: neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
License & Certification Required
- California state RN license required
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
Skills Required
- Interpretation of dysrhythmias
- Management of dysrhythmias
- Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure
- Central line care/management
- Continuous IV sedation
- IV vasopressors
- BiPAP/CPAP management
- Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
- Care of ventilated patients
- Isolation precautions/PPE
- Triage
- Charting system experience required (experience with any system acceptable)
Desired Skills
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Trauma Level II experience preferred
