Experience
- Minimum 2 years NICU experience required
- Previous charge experience preferred
License & Certification Required
- Valid California RN license
- BLS
- NRP
- STABLE
Skills Required
- Experience attending high-risk deliveries
- Breastfeeding support and handling of breast milk
- Experience with neonates > 34 weeks
- Experience with neonates 29-34 weeks
- Knowledge of NICU II
- UAC (Umbilical Artery Catheter) management
- UVC (Umbilical Vein Catheter) management
- Ventilator management (AC/PC/SIMV/CPAP/BIPAP/PEEP)
- Ability to implement "eat, sleep, console" practice
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred
Desired Skills
- Experience with high flow CPAP equipment
