Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred
- Experience providing, managing, coordinating or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility, and/or with bariatric patients preferred
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within 6 months of hire
- Licensed Dietitian due within six (6) months of hire
- BLS

- Ability to provide medical nutrition therapy for a variety of patient populations
- Excellent customer service skills through creative problem solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to understand and use clinical forms and reference materials
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Epic charting experience

- Experience in adult outpatient/clinic settings
- Experience with calorie counts
- Knowledge of dietary guidelines
- Experience with enteral nutrition (tube feedings)
- Experience managing fluid balance
- Experience with malabsorption syndromes
- Experience with morbid obesity and nutrient deficiencies
- Experience with nutrition assessments/reassessments
- Experience managing nutrition therapy complications
- Experience with post-op gastric bypass patients
- Community hospital experience preferred
