Experience
- Minimum 2 years experience providing medical nutrition therapy in an acute care hospital or facility preferred
- Experience managing, coordinating, or supervising patient nutrition care in an outpatient facility and/or with bariatric patients preferred
- Previous travel experience required
License & Certification Required
- Registered Dietitian through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics within 6 months of hire
- Licensed Dietitian due within six (6) months of hire
- BLS
Skills Required
- Understanding of current medical nutrition therapy standards for a variety of patient populations
- Excellent customer service skills through creative problem solving
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to understand and use all clinical forms and reference materials
- Able to follow departmental policies and pathways
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience with Epic charting system
