Experience
- Minimum 2 years cath lab/procedural/sedation experience required
License & Certification Required
- Current RN license in New York
Skills Required
- Experience in left and right heart catheterization
- Experience with coronary stents
- Experience with balloon valvuloplasty
- Experience in pericardiocentesis
- Experience with structural heart procedures
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Experience with Impella and EKOS
- Ability to manage patients under sedation
- Administering oral and intravenous medication to patients
- Patient education regarding surgical site care, lifestyle, medications, and postoperative information
- Charting and documentation skills
- Collaboration with other medical staff
