Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Dietician - Dietician to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Spokane, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide inpatient adult dietitian services with 8-10 patients per day • Demonstrate proficiency in enteral and parenteral nutrition order writing • Conduct nutrition assessments and reassessments for adult and geriatric patients • Perform nutrition focused physical examinations (NFPE) • Develop and implement nutrition therapy treatment plans • Manage therapeutic diet orders and nutrition therapy complications • Monitor fluid and electrolyte balance and intake/output • Assess and manage patients with complex medical conditions including diabetes, heart failure, renal disease, and GI disorders • Provide expertise in total parenteral nutrition (TPN) and enteral nutrition management • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and social services • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Float between sister facilities as assigned with advance notification • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Maintain current RD/RDN certification and state licensure • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Complete compliance documentation by deadline • Adhere to facility policies and scheduling requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
