Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scans using Siemens equipment for adult acute care, ICU, and emergency department patients
• Conduct imaging studies including abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal examinations with and without contrast
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and appropriately
• Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture procedures
• Follow radiation safety protocols and maintain safety standards
• Implement isolation precautions and proper PPE usage
• Document patient information and procedures using Epic charting system
• Provide care for patients across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Work with busy outpatient and emergency department schedules
• Perform specialized procedures including biopsies, aspirations, and drainage when required
• Utilize advanced imaging techniques such as 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Maintain current BLS and ARRT CT certifications
• Complete required orientation and training modules
• Work assigned shifts including potential weekend coverage with advance notice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Adhere to facility policies and scheduling requirements
• Complete annual compliance training and certification requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
