Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PCA - PCA to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Evenings at a leading LTC in Hampton, NH. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and status changes
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning
• Support nursing staff with patient care activities and treatments
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Respond to patient call lights and requests promptly
• Assist with patient hygiene and comfort needs
• Transport patients within the facility as needed
• Maintain clean and organized patient care areas
• Participate in continuing education and training programs
• Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements
• Follow facility policies and procedures
• Work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NH
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
