Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Rotating at a leading Hospital in Missoula, MT. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiograms for inpatients and outpatients including resting, exercise stress, and dobutamine studies
• Conduct transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Assist with procedures in cardiac catheterization lab as needed
• Maintain current BLS, RDCS or RCS, and ARDMS or CCI Registry certifications
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 6-8 patients depending on shift
• Provide care for adults and geriatric patients
• Float between units within the facility as needed
• Work on-call shifts as needed
• Work weekends rarely but as needed
• Complete required modules pre-start and annually (average 16 hours, non-billable)
• Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years
• Maintain valid state Allied license
• Self-report time spent on training modules with completion recorded in Workramp transcripts
• Adhere to facility policies and scheduling requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MT
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
