Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech - Ultrasound Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Plainview, TX. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general ultrasound examinations including abdominal, OB, breast, and transvaginal studies • Conduct vascular ultrasound procedures and echocardiograms • Perform adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill procedures • Assist with precepting clinical staff • Provide on-call coverage 5pm-8am Monday-Friday and 24 hours Saturday & Sunday • Work with patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Utilize Epic charting system for documentation • Maintain current BLS certification and required specialty certifications (ARDMS, CCI, ARDMS RVT, CCI or RDCS) • Complete required modules and training programs pre-start and annually • Work 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between sister facilities and affiliate hospitals as needed • Provide minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within last 3 years • Complete required compliance documentation and certifications • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Maintain valid compact state licensure • Adhere to facility policies and procedures for imaging services delivery
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in TX
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
