Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate CT Technologist - CT Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Days at a leading Hospital in Huntersville, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform CT scanning procedures including Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, and Musculoskeletal imaging
• Conduct specialized procedures such as Aspirations, Biopsies, Colonography, CT Arthrography, Drainage, and CTAs
• Operate Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 CT equipment
• Perform Multiplanar Reconstruction and cardiac imaging
• Insert peripheral IVs and prepare/administer contrast media
• Provide patient care services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and patient records
• Work rotating call shifts including weekend coverage from Friday 10pm to Monday 7am
• Participate in radiation treatment planning and research scans
• Maintain current BLS certification and ARRT (CT) certification
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (8-10 hours non-billable)
• Attend approximately 64 hours of orientation including corporate and facility-specific training
• Work 12-hour day shifts (08:00-20:30) Wednesday through Friday
• Handle daily caseload of approximately 100 patients
• Provide emergency department CT services in close proximity to ED
• Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact license required)
• Adhere to fatigue policy of no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week
• Complete required compliance documentation and certifications within 48 hours
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)
• Maintain professional competency in CT procedures for various patient populations
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
