Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Cath Lab to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform scrub procedures maintaining sterile field in cardiac catheterization lab
• Provide specialized structural heart and TAVR procedure support
• Execute balloon angioplasty, PCI, stents, and thrombectomy procedures
• Assist with Impella insertion and left/right heart catheterization
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Rotablader
• Maintain current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Hold valid RCIS or ARRT certification
• Document patient care using EPIC and MAC Lab systems
• Monitor pulmonary artery lines and provide telemetry support
• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday (07:00-17:30)
• Participate in call rotation including weekend call requirements (9-11 days per 6-week schedule)
• Cover 3 rooms as target ratio assignment
• Complete complex procedures including complex PCIs and laser atherectomy
• Float to electrophysiology unit or patient holding area when required
• Complete 8-10 hours of non-billable modules pre-start and annually
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Maintain valid state licensure (NC or Compact state)
• Adhere to fatigue policy (maximum 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week)
• Provide two supervisory references from past 12 months
• Complete facility orientation and training requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
