Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - Interventional Rad Tech to join our growing clinician community. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, kyphoplasty, peripherals, biopsies, and drainages • Conduct upper and lower extremity, abdominal and pelvic, genitourinary studies, vascular studies, venous access and neurological studies • Provide specialized neuro and stroke intervention services • Operate Siemens and Phillips x-ray equipment • Maintain PACS and contrast administration competency • Scrub procedures and maintain sterile field environment • Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation • Handle daily caseload of 13-17 patients • Serve adults, geriatrics, and adolescent patient populations • Work first shift with staggered start times between 0700-0830 for 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday • Participate in weekend and evening/night on-call rotation as primary and backup coverage • Complete hospital orientation during first week of assignment • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Maintain current BLS and ARRT certifications • Provide minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience • Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required • Adhere to fatigue policy of maximum 5 consecutive days and 60 hours per week • Complete compliance testing within 48 hours of assignment start • Float to affiliate hospitals when needed based on census and skills
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
