Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - RN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading LTC in Pembroke, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide registered nursing services in accordance with state nursing practice standards
• Work rotating schedule of 4 twelve-hour shifts one week and 3 twelve-hour shifts the next week
• Work every other weekend as required
• Provide direct patient care during night shift hours from 19:00 to 07:30
• Maintain current RN licensure in good standing
• Adhere to facility policies and procedures for patient care delivery
• Complete required nursing documentation and charting
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate personnel
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Maintain patient safety and quality care standards
• Participate in required continuing education and competency requirements
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
