Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PTA - PTA to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Rehab in Stockton, CA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy assistant services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Implement treatment plans and interventions as directed by the supervising physical therapist
• Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately and timely
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and mobility training
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and report changes to supervising therapist
• Maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies
• Participate in team meetings and treatment planning sessions
• Maintain current state licensure and required continuing education
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Assist with equipment maintenance and treatment area organization
• Provide patient and family education as appropriate
• Work scheduled shifts including 08:00:00 - 16:30:00 timeframe
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in CA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
