Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RAD Tech - RAD Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 16Hrs Rotating at a leading LTC in Hampton, VA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG service to nursing homes, health care facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities
• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and take into facilities to perform exams ordered by the physician
• Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent x-ray images
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam related paperwork/billing documents on a daily basis per protocol
• Regularly communicate with dispatch and management
• Communicate efficiently and interact professionally with peers, supervisory staff, and clients
• Maintain vehicle and x-ray equipment
• Push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs up to 24 times per day
• Work varied shifts Sunday through Saturday from 0700-2300
• Maintain active ARRT certification
• Maintain active driver's license
• Be available for on-call duties as discussed at interview
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in VA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
