Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate LPN - LPN to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 3x12 Nights at a leading LTC in Pembroke, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Work rotating schedule of 4 twelve-hour shifts one week and 3 twelve-hour shifts the next week
• Provide Licensed Practical Nurse services during night shift hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in accordance with established protocols
• Maintain current LPN licensure and all required certifications
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Administer medications as prescribed and within scope of practice
• Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to supervising registered nurses
• Assist with patient assessments and care planning
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures
• Participate in required training and continuing education programs
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Maintain patient confidentiality and privacy standards
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
