Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - SNF to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading SNF in Bluefield, VA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in skilled nursing facility setting
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Assess and monitor patient conditions and report changes to appropriate healthcare team members
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians, therapists, and social workers
• Supervise and guide licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations governing skilled nursing facilities
• Participate in care planning meetings and develop individualized care plans
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
• Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans
• Maintain current nursing license and required certifications
• Follow infection control protocols and safety procedures
• Work day shift hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in VA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
