Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate PT - Physical Therapist to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Everett, WA. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide physical therapy services in acute care setting treating adults and geriatrics • Conduct patient evaluations and develop treatment plans • Deliver daily physical therapy treatments to minimum 5 billed patients per day • Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) • Treat patients with various diagnoses including trauma, orthopedic, neurological, and general medical conditions • Utilize EPIC charting system for documentation and patient records • Work flexible 8-hour day shifts starting between 6am-10am and ending by 6:30pm • Work every 4th weekend at minimum • Commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Float between various like units within skill set as needed • Maintain current BLS certification and Washington state Physical Therapy license • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within comparable specialty/setting • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare team • Maintain guaranteed 72 hours per 2-week period schedule
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in WA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
