Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate RN - Clinic to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Charlotte, NC. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide outpatient nursing care services for medical oncology and hematology patients
• Perform patient triage and assessment in clinic setting
• Assist with bone marrow biopsy procedures
• Maintain current BLS certification
• Utilize Epic charting system for patient documentation
• Work 8-hour day shifts Monday through Friday (8 AM - 5 PM)
• Complete required pre-start and annual training modules (4-5 hours for non-acute roles)
• Work 2 out of 3 major holidays as required
• Maintain valid NC or Compact state nursing licensure
• Provide two manager/supervisor references from within the past 12 months
• Complete required compliance testing within 48 hours after signing
• Attend hospital orientation during first week of assignment
• Adhere to facility fatigue policy (no more than 5 consecutive days or 60 hours per week)
• Float between units or affiliate hospitals as needed based on census and skill set
• Comply with facility dress code requirements (navy blue scrubs)
• Complete lab testing and compliance documentation within required timeframes
• Maintain required flu vaccination (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in NC
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
