Position Summary:
VitalHire is seeking a skilled and compassionate Echo Technologist - Echo Tech to join our growing clinician community. This high-impact opportunity offers a 5x8 Days at a leading Hospital in Attleboro, MA. Key Responsibilities:
• Perform echocardiography procedures in echo suite with two echo rooms
• Conduct portable echocardiogram scans in ICU and for COVID-positive patients
• Provide echo services for ICU, Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient cases
• Perform 2-D and 3-D echocardiography procedures
• Conduct bubble studies and stress echocardiography (pharmacologic and treadmill)
• Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
• Evaluate right ventricular inflow tract (RVIT) and outflow tract (RVOT)
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Handle cases including aortic stenosis, congestive heart failure, and atrial fibrillation
• Perform imaging procedures using contrast agents when required
• Follow isolation precautions protocols
• Utilize PACS system for image management
• Document procedures using Cerner charting system
• Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure
• Complete 16 hours of orientation training
• Work 5x8 day shifts (07:45 - 16:15)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams including respiratory services, radiology, and rapid response teams
Job Requirements:
- Active, unencumbered license in MA
- Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty
- Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable)
Other Required Documentation:
- Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format)
- Two current clinical references
- State-required professional license
- Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months)
- TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months)
- Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted)
- Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations
- Must pass background check and drug screening
